An Egyptian export desk for granular fertilizer

Bayan Nagdy for General Trade is an Egyptian trading company supplying granular fertilizer to importers and distributors abroad. The desk handles five grades, DAP, TSP, SSP, urea and CAN, in 2-4 mm granular form, loading from Damietta, Alexandria, Ain Sokhna and Adabiya on FOB, CFR or CIF terms.

The desk works one lane: Egyptian granular fertilizer, bought against a written specification and moved to a named port. We buy from Egyptian producers, among them El Nasr Company for Intermediate Chemicals, and sell on to importers and distributors who want a counterparty that still answers the phone after the contract is signed.

Every cargo travels with its analysis. Where you want an independent surveyor at the berth, we arrange it.

Sudan, Eritrea, Djibouti and the Horn, on the same Gulf of Suez berth complex.

What buyers ask before the first cargo

Bayan Nagdy supplies five granular grades from Egypt: DAP (diammonium phosphate), TSP (triple superphosphate), SSP (single superphosphate), urea 46% and CAN (calcium ammonium nitrate). All five ship in 2-4 mm granular form.

Cargo loads from four Egyptian ports. Damietta and Alexandria serve Europe, the Mediterranean and North Africa. Ain Sokhna and Adabiya serve the Red Sea, the Arabian Gulf, East Africa and Asia without a northbound Suez transit.

Sales are written FOB, CFR or CIF under Incoterms 2020, with the named port agreed per contract. Packing is 50 kg polypropylene bags, 1 MT jumbo bags, or loose in bulk.

Bayan Nagdy is a trading company, not a producer. The desk buys Egyptian-origin granular fertilizer, including product made by El Nasr Company for Intermediate Chemicals (NCIC), and resells it to importers and distributors abroad.

Each shipment travels with a certificate of analysis, a certificate of origin and the bill of lading, plus any further documents your letter of credit or import authority requires. Pre-shipment inspection by an independent surveyor can be arranged on request.

Minimum quantity depends on the grade, the packing and the load port, so it is quoted per enquiry rather than fixed. Send the grade, the tonnage, the destination port and the incoterm you want and the desk will come back with terms.
