vCard Sections

This is the complete reference for every section of the vCard editor, documented one by one in the exact order they appear in the left Sections menu. Each card type shows the same menu (the active section is highlighted blue), and some sections only appear on plans that include them. Fill only what you need and click Save on each section before moving on.

Basic Details

  1. Basic Details is the first section and is always shown on every card. Start with the Cover type, choose Photo (the default), a YouTube or Vimeo video (with an optional autoplay variant), then upload your Cover image and crop it. Autoplay videos are muted automatically because of browser policies, and a small note tells you whether the current theme supports a video cover at all.

  2. Next upload your Logo (also croppable), then fill the Title (your business name or your name — required), the Sub Title (your location or job title — required) and the Description (your about / bio — required). The Personalized Link field sets your public URL (e.g. /aurora-studio); the editor verifies it is available before you save.

  3. Click Add Arabic to reveal the bilingual twins — Title (AR), Sub Title (AR) and Description (AR) — so visitors who switch the card to Arabic see properly localized copy instead of an English fallback. Fill these if you serve an Arabic-speaking audience.

  4. This section is also home to the AI tools: under the cover and logo you get Recreate with AI, and under the description an AI toolbar (Improve, Shorten, Professional, Translate to…). Each action costs 1 credit. For the full walkthrough see the AI Tools guide.

  5. At the top sits Choose a theme with a searchable gallery — the theme controls the whole look of your public card. Tip: pick the theme first, because some themes do not support a video cover and others change which header layout options are available. Click Save when the basics are done.

Services

  1. Services lists what you offer in an editable table (image, name, description, inquiry, actions). It is a business/custom section on plans that include services. Click Create new to open the Add Service modal, then upload a Service Image (required) and enter the Service Name (required).

  2. Add a Service Description, and use the Add Arabic toggle to fill the (AR) versions of the name and description — each Arabic field has a Suggest with AI button that translates your English text in place. This keeps a single service bilingual without retyping.

  3. The Inquiry Button toggle adds a WhatsApp enquiry button to the service. Edge case: it stays disabled until you add a WhatsApp number in Social Links — the editor reminds you. Once enabled you can set a custom WhatsApp button label (e.g. *“Make WhatsApp Inquiry”*); leave it blank for the default.

  4. The Open a link on click toggle turns the service into a clickable link: enable it, set the Link URL and an optional Button label (e.g. *“Visit Website”*). Save with Save changes; rows can be edited or deleted later from the table, with a confirm prompt before deletion.

Products

  1. Products showcases items on the card itself (separate from the full Online Store). It is a business/custom section on plans that include vCard products, and lives in a table (image, name, description, stock, actions). Click Create new to open Add Product and upload a Product Image (required).

  2. Enter the Product Name and Product Description, then set pricing: a Regular Price and an optional Sales Price for a strike-through discount. Choose a Currency from the list (or No Currency) so the amount renders with the right symbol.

  3. Add an optional Product Badge (e.g. *“New”*, *“Best seller”*) with its own (AR) twin, and set a Status: In Stock or Out of Stock. Every text field (name, description, badge) has Add Arabic + Suggest with AI for instant translation.

  4. Like Services, the product can carry a WhatsApp inquiry button — which again needs a WhatsApp number in Social Links first. Save with Save changes; manage rows from the table afterwards. Tip: keep product images square and consistently sized so the public grid stays tidy.

Testimonials

  1. Testimonials builds trust with customer quotes, available on business/custom cards on plans that include testimonials. For each entry add a Reviewer Image, Reviewer Name (required), an optional Reviewer Subtext (their role or company), a Rating (stars) from 1–5, and the Review text itself (required).

  2. Every text field — name, subtext and review — has an (AR) twin so quotes display correctly in either language. Use Add New to add more reviews and Remove to delete one, then Save. Order is preserved as shown.

  3. Powerful extra: turn on Allow visitors to submit reviews to add a public “Write a review” form to your card. New visitor reviews are held as Pending for you to Approve or Delete in the Visitor Reviews list below, so nothing goes live without your sign-off. You can also set the “Write a review” button colour to match your theme.

Pop-ups

  1. Pop-ups shows a message the moment someone opens your card. It is available on business/custom cards. There are two independent pop-ups: a Newsletter Popup (toggle Enable Newsletter Popup to collect emails) and an Information Popup (toggle Enable Information Popup for a promotional message). You can run either, both, or neither.

  2. For the Information Popup Details, set an Image, Title, Description, Button Text and Button URL — so the pop-up can promote an offer and link straight to it. There is also a fun confetti effect toggle (*“Do you want to activate the confetti effect?”*) for launches and celebrations.

  3. Tip: keep the pop-up short and give it one clear action — a single button that goes somewhere useful. Click Save to apply, or Skip to move on without changes.

Business Hours

  1. Business Hours publishes your opening times, available on business/custom cards on plans that include business hours. Use the 24 Hours (Always Open) toggle if you never close, or Hide Business Hours to remove the section from the public card entirely.

  2. For each day of the week you get a Closed toggle plus an Opening Time and Closing Time. Set a day to Closed to mark it as a day off; otherwise enter the times for that day. Times use a simple HH:MM picker.

  3. Split shifts are supported. Example: a Monday with a lunch break — set the first shift 09:00–12:00 and a second shift 16:00–20:00; on the public card it renders as two lines for that day. Leave the second shift blank for a single continuous shift, then click Save.

Appointment

  1. Appointment offers single-slot booking (one customer per slot — ideal for consultations, viewings or check-ups). It is available on personal and business/custom cards on plans that include appointments. Start by setting the Slot duration in minutes (e.g. 30 for a quick consult or 60 for an hour).

  2. Pick the Days of the week you accept appointments, and for each enabled day add one or more time slots. Only the days and slots you define become bookable, so you stay in control of your calendar.

  3. Set a Fee (Price) for appointments — it applies to every slot; enter 0 to make appointments free. Finally, under Appointment Email Configuration, set the email address that should receive each booking notification. Click Save. Tip: use a monitored inbox here so you never miss a request.

Contact Form

  1. Contact Form (the Contact & Inquiry Form) is a lead-capture form on your card, available on business/custom cards on plans that include it. Visitors fill it in and their message reaches you by email — and the lead is also captured in your CRM. Use Hide Contact / Inquiry Form if you want to turn the form off without losing its settings.

  2. Under Contact & Inquiry Form Email Configuration, set the email address to receive submissions — every message a visitor sends lands there. Save when done.

  3. Every submission becomes a contact you can manage centrally — assign, tag, and follow up. To see how leads flow into the pipeline, read How to use the CRM. Tip: the Contact Form is the single highest-leverage section for turning card views into real conversations.

Service Booking

  1. Service Booking handles time-span bookings (a customer reserves a window of your time), and is available on business/custom cards on plans that include it. Flip Service Booking: On / Off to enable it, then open Basic Configuration.

  2. Choose the Available days (Sunday, Monday, etc.) from the multi-select, then set the daily Start time and End time that define the bookable window. The system generates bookable spans inside that window on the days you selected.

  3. Under Service Booking Email Configuration, set the email address to receive booking notifications. Save when done. The section also carries finer controls (such as a minimum-notice / lead-time before a booking is allowed) so customers can’t book a slot that’s already too soon.

Customization

  1. Customization is the deep design panel and appears only on custom-type cards (the “custom” type unlocks full styling control). It is split into a Header Section and a Body Section, each with a live Preview so you see changes as you make them.

  2. In the Header Section choose a Profile Layout, a Profile Image Style (e.g. circle or square), and pick the Title Color, Subtitle Color and Description Color. This controls how the very top of your card looks.

  3. In the Body Section pick a Font, then a Background StyleSingle Color, Gradient (with From/To colors) or Image — plus the Heading Color and a Card Style (the card edge / corner radius). You can fine-tune the whole surface here.

  4. Finally style the Button Styles: Button Background Type (Single Color or Gradient), Button Icon Color, Button Text Color and Button Edge, plus a Bottom Bar Color. Tip: keep contrast high between button text and background for readability, then Save.

Advanced Settings

  1. Advanced Settings holds the technical controls and is available on any card type when your plan includes password protection or advanced settings. Show this vCard publicly? (directory listing) decides whether your card appears in the website directory. Enable PWA lets visitors install the card as an app, and Enable Language Switcher adds an EN/AR toggle to the public card.

  2. Password Protection: toggle it on and enter a Password (with a Show Password helper) to lock the card behind a password so only people you give it to can view it. Leave it off for a fully public card.

  3. Under SEO Configuration Settings set a Favicon, Meta Title, Meta Description and Meta Keywords (typing a space auto-adds a comma; capped at ~70 characters, and optional since Google ignores meta keywords). These control how your card looks when shared or indexed.

  4. Add Marketing & Tracking Pixels to measure ad campaigns — Meta (Facebook) Pixel ID, Google Analytics 4 ID, Google Ads Conversion ID + Label, and TikTok Pixel ID. They respect visitor consent. For total control there are Custom CSS and Custom JS boxes to inject your own code. Click Save.

Section Titles

  1. Section Titles lets you rename the headings shown on your public card, available on business/custom cards. Instead of the default labels, you can call “Services” *“What we offer”* or “Testimonials” *“Happy clients”* — each section has a Title field and an (AR) field for the Arabic label.

  2. On supported themes you can do more than rename: drag the Drag handle to reorder sections and use the Show / hide section toggle (Shown / Hidden) to control which sections appear at all. A note in the editor tells you whether reordering and hiding are available on your current theme.

  3. Use Add Arabic to fill the (AR) titles in one place, then Save. Tip: consistent, benefit-led section names (e.g. *“Book a call”* instead of *“Appointment”*) make a card feel bespoke rather than templated.

Intro Screen

  1. Intro Screen is a splash/welcome animation that plays before your card loads, available on business/custom cards. It is the last section in the menu and the finishing touch that makes a card feel premium from the very first second.

  2. Choose None to disable it, or pick one of the ready-made intro screens from the thumbnail gallery — each option shows a preview image so you can match it to your brand. Only one can be active at a time.

  3. Click Save to apply, then open your public link to watch it play. Tip: an intro screen is great for a brand reveal, but keep it short — visitors want to reach your content fast, so use it for delight, not delay.

Google Wallet pass

  • On supported plans your vCard can be added to Google Wallet and Apple Wallet as a tap-ready pass, so contacts keep your card in their phone’s wallet alongside their boarding passes and loyalty cards. Setup and the exact requirements are covered in the Wallet guide.

Frequently asked questions

  • Why don't all sections show up in my editor's Sections menu? Because some sections only appear on plans that include them, and a few are limited by card type. Payment Links, Services, Products, Galleries, Testimonials and more are business or custom-card sections, while the Customization panel appears only on custom-type cards. Basic Details is the one section always shown on every card.

  • Which fields are required in the Basic Details section? The Title (your business name or your name), the Sub Title (your location or job title) and the Description (your about or bio) are all required. Scaanme also recommends choosing your theme first, because some themes do not support a video cover and others change which header layout options are available.

  • How do I add a WhatsApp inquiry button to a service or product? Turn on the Inquiry Button toggle, but it stays disabled until you first add a WhatsApp number in the Social Links section, and the editor reminds you of this. Once it is enabled you can set a custom WhatsApp button label, or leave the label blank to use the default.

  • What is the difference between the Appointment and Service Booking sections? Appointment offers single-slot booking, one customer per slot for things like consultations or check-ups, where you set a slot duration in minutes and a fee (enter 0 to make appointments free). Service Booking handles time-span bookings, where a customer reserves a window inside the daily start and end times you define on your available days. Both send each booking notification to an email address you choose.
